demo cd ready and raring to go!

I've gathered together a list of radio stations and festivals who I plan to send this demo off to. Fingers crossed a few may want me for this year and if not, perhaps next year! My Dad has been brilliant, accompanying me to all the recording sessions and being generally supportive. Neil from Rapid Print has done a fab job with the wallets and Iain and Martine down at Camelot Acoustics have been wonderful recorders for this CD and I plan to record my next main album with them. A great start to the year!"

I met Steve Knightley!

That's right- I met one half of the renouned acoustic roots duo Show of Hands when I supported him on Friday 11th September at Stogumber Festival. A light and delicious pre-show supper set the evening off to a great start. The concert began at 7.30 with a dramatic power-cut! I performed for 20 minutes and then Steve  went on to captivate the audience with 2 sets. A really fantastic evening. See the gallery for photos.

"Jemima's "I'll Be Back" left my wife with tears in her eyes, all of us with children who have left home will relate to this wonderful song. Never stop writing and singing, you all make so many people happy for the right reasons and we all need lots of this."

Halsway Manor Hothouse Festival '16

Had such a fabulous time on Saturday at Halsway Manor Hothouse Festival! Played a 45 minute set with my wonderful Father, had a quick chat and a live track on the radio and then enjoyed the rest of the festival! Highlight was definitely The Little Unsaid- John Elliot and Lukas Drinkwater, loved it.

"Jemima's CD, 'Good Days', is full of songs about those gentle, young and carefree days, with a voice of that same ilk and musicianship that is delicate and full of potential" - Richard Harris, Richard Harris Folk and Blues Show 97.5 FM (SomervalleyFM)

"unique and truly amazing"

"one to watch out for on the folk scene! With a voice like that, you scare me" - Ange Hardy (FATEA Female Vocalist of the year 2013)

Jemima is blessed with a magnificent singing voice that soars most confidently - almost frighteningly so, in fact, so closely does she make us identify with her and her songs' messages.- FATEA
